Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate support to patients under the guidance of physicians, therapists, and nursing staff. This role involves performing clerical duties and assisting with patient care from newborns to geriatric individuals, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in line with organizational policies. Essential Responsibilities: Complete documentation promptly and accurately according to established policies. Demonstrate skills and knowledge to deliver patient care as outlined in department competencies. Assist with patient care to achieve positive health outcomes. Perform clerical tasks as assigned. Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain professional communication and relationships with patients, team members, physicians, and external agencies. Perform additional duties as required. Education and Experience: No formal education or experience required, though previous exposure to a medical environment is preferred. Licenses and Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation. Preferred certifications include Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) with ASCP credentials. Skills and Abilities: Moderate computer proficiency. Effective communication skills. Basic medical terminology knowledge. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
