Position Overview: This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The nurse will support patients across all ages and backgrounds, promoting health and well-being through assessment, planning, and coordination of care. Key Responsibilities: Maintain clinical competency and accurately identify patient needs for infants through geriatrics. Adapt care plans based on changing clinical conditions and monitor outcomes. Utilize critical thinking to assess and respond to patient data effectively. Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary team members. Develop and update individualized nursing care plans regularly. Administer medications following pharmacy and manufacturer guidelines. Adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring timely completion of physician orders. Prioritize patient care efficiently, demonstrating maturity and flexibility under stress. Manage equipment and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized environment. Accept and adapt to assignment changes, including support roles in respiratory, physical, or occupational therapy as needed. Education and Certifications: Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school. Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant state. BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire. ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications to be completed within one year (NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced). For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is necessary.
