Join a dynamic Emergency Department team as an Advanced Paramedic Registered Nurse, delivering compassionate and skilled patient care across all age groups from newborns to geriatrics. In this role, you will provide both direct and indirect care under the clinical supervision of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, or registered nurses. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to ensure excellent service recovery and effective conflict management. Key Responsibilities: Collect and communicate patient health information to RNs and physicians throughout the visit. Keep patients informed about their treatment plans and assist in delivering and documenting care. Perform specialized emergency care procedures, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, EKG application, and IV catheter insertion/removal for adults and pediatrics. Assist with patient preparation and procedural setups. Maintain cleanliness and stock of treatment rooms. Adhere strictly to privacy and security regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI). Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred but not required. Licensure and Certifications: Current MICT-Paramedic certification required. Healthcare Provider BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Behavioral Skills: Integrity and honesty with a commitment to ethical practice.
