The Opportunity – Per Diem Nocturnist Cross-Cover Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Primary point of contact for nursing staff for adult inpatient needs during the overnight shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Respond to urgent clinical situations, including bedside assessments as needed. Assist with overnight admissions (typically 0–1 per night). Provide cross-coverage for approximately 100–130 adult inpatients. In-house Physician back up. No ICU responsibilities. Current national certification, DEA, and ACLS are preferred. Previous hospitalist/inpatient experience is preferred. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
