Key Responsibilities: Assessment: Conduct thorough, age-specific respiratory assessments and reassessments. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather comprehensive medical histories and document findings accurately. Diagnosis: Identify physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, infection control, environmental, and educational needs. Prioritize care based on assessment results and prepare tailored patient and family education. Planning and Outcomes: Work closely with healthcare teams to develop and update individualized care and education plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes, incorporating patient and family input. Implementation: Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care using evidence-based interventions. Coordinate with community resources and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Evaluation: Continuously assess the effectiveness of respiratory treatments and patient responses, adjusting care plans as necessary. Education and Experience: Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program. Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
