Key Responsibilities Adhere to established safety protocols including infection control, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to maintain a secure care environment. Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and educate patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes. Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance quality, and ensure safety. Document all patient care activities accurately to support compliance with quality measures. Communicate effectively with physicians, healthcare team members, patients, and families to improve care and patient experience. Delegate tasks appropriately while fostering teamwork and accountability. Adapt positively to healthcare dynamics and pursue continuous professional development. Education Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Experience At least one year of healthcare experience is preferred. Certifications and Licenses Current Registered Nurse license in a Compact State or the state of employment. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
