After School Certified Teacher

Instructional Services Provider To provide effective instructional services for identified students who are struggling in specific academic areas of need and to help them attain a higher level of achievement through afterschool, intersession, or summer school setting. Essential Functions Plans and implements activity/lesson plans that are in accordance with the Arizona State Academic Standards Develops lessons specific to the needs of the students with high levels of student engagement opportunities Attends professional development opportunities when requested by the principal and/or supervisor Encourages parent involvement Actively participates in on-going communication with principal/program supervisor regarding student progress and challenges Other duties may be assigned Certificates, Licenses and Registration Required: Must hold an Arizona Teacher Certification in specific content area Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1968 Must maintain a current Fingerprint Clearance Card Education and/or Experience: One year related experience or training, preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
