After School Program Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Afterschool Program Assistant to support daily program activities and help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate enjoys working with youth, is patient and organized, and works well with a team. Responsibilities: Supervise and assist students during afterschool activities Help children with homework and educational assignments Assist with arts, crafts, games, and recreational activities Maintain a safe and structured environment Monitor student behavior and encourage positive interactions Prepare and organize program materials and supplies Ensure proper student sign-in and sign-out procedures Communicate professionally with staff and parents as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working with children is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and remain patient in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable and punctual Schedule: Part-time, Monday–Friday, 2:15-6pm Pay: $16 Work Location: In person
