Afternoon Dishwasher/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced bakery environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and store front, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations. Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Dispose of waste materials following health and safety regulations. Support the team with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas when necessary. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling techniques at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure timely service. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is strongly preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic health code cleanliness. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques is a plus. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality industry.
