What You’ll Be Doing Designing and implementing robust, end-to-end agentic workflows within the Ansys Mechanical product using cutting-edge AI technologies. Analyzing real-world usage data to iteratively improve workflow effectiveness and user experience. Developing and optimizing embedding pipelines and integrating with vector databases to achieve high-performance, cost-effective AI systems. Creating, refining, and deploying high-quality Large Language Model prompts to deliver impactful AI-powered user interactions. Deploying AI workflows to local networks, ensuring secure and reliable integration into existing infrastructure. Investigating and resolving defects in production code, enhancing software reliability and user trust. Developing comprehensive unit tests for new features, ensuring maintainable and error-resistant codebases. Analyzing results from AI workflows to drive continuous improvements in software usability, reliability, and performance. Driving the adoption of innovative AI technologies within Synopsys’ Mechanical Core, setting new standards for intelligent product design. Enhancing the reliability and efficiency of AI-powered workflows, reducing operational friction for end users. Enabling Synopsys to maintain its leadership in delivering intelligent, scalable, and future-ready technology solutions to a global market. What You’ll Need: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field ,ideally with coursework in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with2+ years of hands-on experience is a plus Demonstrable experience working with Large Language Models in production environments. Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python, for rapid prototyping and workflow automation. Strong analytical and algorithmic problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable and efficient solutions. Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code optimization in complex software systems. Familiarity with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, and GitHub. Exposure to NLP, Knowledge Graphs, and agentic workflows (reasoning, tool usage, automated task execution, Model Context Protocols). Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C++, C#, Go, Rust, or Java is a plus. Who You Are: An innovative and adaptable engineer with a growth mindset.
