Description Driver loads food-based products in bulk, transporting them via Semi-Truck and Trailer and unloading the products at numerous customer locations. Responsibilities Operate in a safe manner and in compliance with company policies, state/federal laws and regulations. Load Agri-products at food processing plants and bulk storage facilities. Unload products at numerous customer locations. Connect hoses and fittings to "load and unload" agri-food products safely. Drop and hook up trailers to semi-truck. This includes raising and lowering dolly legs on the trailer. Estimated torque on dolly legs around 50lbs to raise and lower depending. Reaching pulling and pushing asphalt hoses with products in them up to 75 lbs. Ability to climb ladders to an approximate height of 11 feet to check tank levels and make sure load is secure. o The maximum weight of the vertical step load of 450 lbs. and a riser/grab-handle pull a load of 200 lbs. Climbing in and out of Tractor using 3 points of contact Opening dome lid to vent the trailer Ability to verbally understand detailed information from dispatchers regarding loads and customer requirements. Present a professional image of the company through appearance and attitude. Long pants with a company provided shirt is required. No shorts or sleeveless shirts are allowed. General conversations in English with dispatchers, customers, and loaders to accommodate their needs. Physical Requirements Lifting up to 50 lbs. Stooping, bending, twisting, pulling, grasping Climbing, Prolonged sitting Required Valid Class A - CDL driver's license with tanker and hazmat endorsement. Approved medical card via DOT certified doctor, PA, or Chiropractor Compensation 80-100K per year
