The Agriculture Sales Specialist is a field-based role focused on helping growers improve profitability by reducing input costs and optimizing crop performance. This position works directly with farmers to evaluate operations, identify efficiencies, and deliver practical, data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct 10+ on-farm visits weekly to assess grower needs, input strategies, and cost structures Build strong relationships and provide ongoing, value-driven recommendations Identify cost-saving opportunities across products, logistics, and operational practices Present ROI analyses and product comparisons to support decision-making Execute territory plans and collaborate with partners to drive growth Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics Support field demos, grower meetings, and product adoption efforts Capture activity, insights, and performance metrics in CRM systems Salary range from $150-200,000 base salary + commission. Full benefits package as well! Territory covers all of Wisconsin and North Dakota from Jamestown to Fargo. Qualifications 3+ years in agricultural sales, agronomy, or related field role Strong understanding of crop production and farm economics Proven relationship-building and communication skills Ability to analyze data and clearly articulate financial value Self-driven with strong time and territory management skills CRM proficiency and willingness to travel regularly Regular travel within assigned territory Preferred Degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or related field Experience with crop inputs, field trials, or farm efficiency initiatives
