Job Description
The Agronomy Location Manger is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, personnel, equipment, safety, and customer service activities of an agronomy facility. This position ensures the efficient execution of agronomy operations while maintaining operational profitability. Main Responsibilities Oversight of all daily agronomy operations including: fertilizer blending, chemical handling, seed operations, warehousing, and custom application services Coordinate product receiving, inventory management, dispatching, delivery logistics Ensure operational efficiency during peak seasonal demands Lead, coach, and develop operations personnel including: applicators, drivers, warehouse staff, and seasonal employees Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations Oversee maintenance and repair schedules for equipment and facilities Support location profitability through operational efficiency and expense management Manage capital improvement projects and facility upgrades Qualifications 3+ years of agronomy operations management experience Knowledge of agronomy products, application processes, and agricultural operations Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Inventory management experience Mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge Experience managing operational budgets and expenses All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
