Healthcare Instructor (AHA, ARC, ECSI, HSI) Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and dedicated Healthcare Instructor to join our growing team of medical educators. This position is responsible for teaching mandatory lifesaving and emergency cardiovascular care courses for healthcare professionals and community organizations throughout Texas. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, confident in public speaking, and experienced in delivering high-quality instruction in advanced healthcare certification programs. Instructors will teach courses such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS, First Aid, CPR/AED, and other emergency response programs aligned with American Heart Association (AHA)�, American Red Cross (ARC)�, Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI)�, and Health & Safety Institute (HSI)� standards. This is a paid instructor position with opportunities for advancement, flexible scheduling, travel assignments, and professional development. Responsibilities Deliver engaging and professional instruction in: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) CPR/AED and First Aid courses Other emergency response and healthcare certification programs Teach mandatory health and safety education classes to healthcare professionals, corporate clients, government agencies, schools, and community organizations Ensure all instruction follows current AHA, ARC, ECSI, and HSI guidelines and standards Demonstrate emergency medical procedures and lifesaving skills confidently and accurately Evaluate student competency through written testing and hands-on skills assessments Maintain accurate course documentation, rosters, and certification records Create a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment for adult learners Travel to client sites, offices, hospitals, schools, and training locations throughout Texas when needed Maintain instructor certifications and stay current on guideline updates and educational requirements Assist with classroom setup, equipment management, and cleaning/disinfection of training equipment Qualifications Current instructor certifications through one or more of the following organizations: American Heart Association (AHA) American Red Cross (ARC) Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) Health & Safety Institute (HSI) Current provider certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS, CPR/AED, or related healthcare courses Strong public speaking and communication skills Experience teaching healthcare, emergency medical, CPR, or safety education courses preferred Ability to teach and engage adult learners in both classroom and hands-on environments Professional demeanor with strong organizational and customer service skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for on-site training assignments Healthcare, EMS, military medic, nursing, respiratory therapy, or clinical background preferred Prior teaching or instructor experience preferred but not required for motivated candidates Schedule & Work Environment Flexible scheduling available Weekday, evening, and weekend classes Part-time, contract, and full-time opportunities available On-site, mobile, and classroom instruction throughout Texas Instructor Certification Benefits Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC will cover 85% of approved instructor certification and onboarding costs Employees are responsible for 15% of initial certification expenses Most organizations require instructors to pay 100% of certification costs independently, making this a significant professional benefit Approved instructor recertifications through the company are provided at no cost to employees Ongoing mentorship, monitoring, and instructor development opportunities available Compensation & Benefits Competitive instructor pay Opportunities for bonuses and travel assignments Flexible work environment Professional development and instructor growth opportunities Supportive team-oriented atmosphere Join Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC� and help train the next generation of healthcare professionals and community responders with lifesaving skills that make a real difference every day.
