Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for system-wide leadership of capital construction initiatives. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. (20%) Program Management (20%) Plans, organizes, and coordinates the strategic, short- and long-range planning and day-to-day operations and activities of the facilities planning function. Coordinates the selection and supervision of architects, engineers, planning and design consultants, project managers, construction managers, inspectors, and/or other applicable professionals. Perform research and analysis in the development of facilities planning data; develops initial programmatic plans for use by design professionals based on long-range analysis of strategic plans and space utilization data; prepares special analyses and reports related to long-range planning; analyzes needs and develops recommendations concerning future. Develop, gain approval and achieve program requirements for implementing construction projects, safety and infection control. Ensure compliance with applicable policies, rules, regulations and laws including regulatory and policy developments affecting areas of responsibility.
