Job Summary ClearBridge Investments is seeking a Technology Business Analyst to join our New York City–based Technology team. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, prototyping, and delivering AI-enhanced internal tools, automation workflows, data-enabled capabilities, and low-code applications that improve operations across the firm. You’ll work directly with business users to build and deploy AI-focused and analytics-enabled solutions that enhance our investment and related capabilities. You will work to understand business opportunities, define and catalog requirements, and rapidly prototype workflows and applications across platforms including the Microsoft ecosystem, modern GenAI tools, and our data and analytics stack. This role blends project management, product thinking, solution architecture, rapid prototyping, and stakeholder communication. Ideal candidates are self-starters with strong technical and analytical skills, the ability to derive business process insights in real time, and experience implementing AI-enabled and data-driven tools inside dynamic environments. Key Technology Business Analyst Responsibilities Lead focus groups, interviews, and working sessions to uncover opportunities, validate value, and drive scalable AI and automation implementations Scope problems, design intelligent workflows, rapidly prototype tools in partnership with users, and drive delivery of AI-powered and data-enabled internal applications Design and develop technology solutions that improve operational efficiency across research, investment, and operational teams Build AI copilots, assistants, and automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure services, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, and other GenAI platforms as appropriate Stand up rapid MVP prototypes (including lightweight and containerized prototypes when useful) to gather requirements and iterate in real time with business users Perform fast-turn data discovery and validation (SQL and related methods) to accelerate delivery, reduce cycle time, and support reporting and analytics initiatives Partner with data and engineering teams to integrate internal workflows with external data ecosystems (for example Bloomberg and FactSet) and enable downstream consumption patterns (including Excel-based workflows and BQL where relevant) Collaborate with developers, data teams, QA/UAT teams, and business stakeholders to productionize prototypes into secure, supportable solutions Manage requirements gathering, documentation, testing coordination, and stakeholder communications across departments Structure, test, and refine MVPs; evolve them into production-ready tools through agile iteration, rollout planning, and adoption enablement Help develop and maintain a governance framework for responsible AI tool usage and deployment, including practical controls around data handling, access, and model usage patterns Present clear progress updates, functional demos, and decision-ready tradeoffs to senior leadership and cross-functional teams Qualifications 5–8 years of experience delivering internal business tools, AI/automation solutions, data-enabled products, or cross-functional technology implementations Ex
