Job Description
Physician Life Care Planning (PLCP) is the nation’s leading provider of damages valuation services, with a team of more than 90 board-certified physician life care planners and damages valuation experts. We help personal injury attorneys build credible, defensible cases through our ClearView Process™ — and we are actively building the next generation of legal technology to support that mission, including our Previdi™ platform. As we scale our internal tools, we are creating an opportunity for someone to come in on the ground floor, contribute meaningfully from day one, and grow into a true ownership role. THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a hands-on AI Builder — a vibe coder, in the modern sense — to help us design, build, deploy, and maintain a portfolio of internal applications that power how PLCP runs its business. Think of it as an internal app environment: a curated collection of purpose-built tools (dashboards, intelligence systems, workflow apps, reporting interfaces) that our teams across operations, product, sales, and marketing rely on every day. These are not our client-facing production tools that deliver life care plans and damages valuations; they are the internal software that drives efficiency, sharpens decision-making, and supports the teams who build and deliver those production tools. Today, several of these applications already exist in working form (for example, a Competitive Intelligence Repository and a suite of operational dashboards). Tomorrow, the catalog will grow significantly. The person in this role will be central to that growth — and will earn the opportunity to own that environment end-to-end as their skills and contributions compound. This is a build first role, not just a maintenance role. You will write the code, ship the deployments, integrate AI capabilities, gather feedback, and iterate — and you will see your work used by leaders across the company within weeks, not quarters. WHAT YOU’LL DO Build & Deploy Develop internal web applications and AI-assisted tools using modern stacks (HTML/CSS/JS, React, Python, Node.js) and AI-native development workflows. Take applications from prototype through deployment, with appropriate hosting, authentication, and access controls. Use AI coding assistants and agentic development tools to accelerate delivery and continuously raise the quality bar of what you ship. Maintain & Improve Own the lifecycle of deployed applications: bug fixes, feature requests, performance improvements, and refactoring as needs evolve. Apply AI to existing applications to make them smarter, faster, and more useful — adding features like natural-language search, document analysis, automated summarization, or workflow assistance. Treat each application as a product: gather feedback from internal users, prioritize improvements, and ship updates on a regular cadence. Integrate & Connect Wire applications into the systems our business already runs on — Salesforce, HubSpot, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and others — through APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms. Build the connective tissue between data sources and the front-line teams who need that data, so every dashboard and tool reflects a single source of truth. Grow Into Ownership Curate the internal application environment the way a product team curates an app store — establishing conventions, design patterns, security baselines, and a coherent user experience across every tool. Partner with the Chief Product Officer and functional leaders to shape the roadmap, prioritize new applications, and retire ones that have outlived their purpose. Mentor others as the team expands, and become the go-to expert for how PLCP builds internal software. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR This role is intentionally designed for someone at the start of their career — a recent graduate, a bootcamp completer, or a self-taught developer who is ready to apply their skills in a real business environment with real stakes and real users. We care far more about what you can build than how long you’ve been building. Required Skills & Aptitude Working proficiency with modern web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one frontend framework (React preferred). Working proficiency with at least one backend language — Python or Node.js — including the ability to build, deploy, and maintain a small web service or API. Comfort with version control (Git/GitHub), command-line basics, and standard developer workflows. Demonstrated ability to use AI development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) to design, buil
