Role Description This is a flexible remote internship role for an AI EdTech Product Intern, requiring a commitment of 10-20 hours per week. The intern will engage in activities such as researching EdTech trends, supporting product development, analyzing user feedback for product improvement, assisting with customer inquiries, and promoting products through impactful communication and engagement. Collaboration with the founder and teams is a key part of the role. Qualifications Product-focused skills, including knowledge or experience as a Product Specialist and an interest in EdTech development Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating user feedback, identifying trends, and suggesting product improvements Excellent Communication skills to articulate ideas effectively and engage with students, partners, and stakeholders Customer service and sales capabilities to support users and contribute to product promotion Interest in creative education, technology, or youth engagement is advantageous Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment What You'll Do Integrate AI features into the learning experience: image generation, scenario simulation, interactive storytelling Build the safety and moderation layer -> content filtering, age-appropriate guardrails, output monitoring (this is for kids; it has to be bulletproof) Prompt engineering and API orchestration to create reliable, delightful AI interactions Test and evaluate AI outputs for quality, safety, and educational value Requirements Experience building with OpenAI, Stability AI, or similar APIs Proficient in Python or Node.js Solid understanding of prompt engineering — you know how to get consistent, useful outputs You take child safety seriously and think about edge cases Nice to Have Genuine interest in education and how kids learn Experience with content moderation systems ML background or coursework What You Get Real-world research with direct application Unpaid but high-impact 4-month duration with the option to extend This is an unpaid educational training program with Kelly Tutors LLC for current/recent students/graduates and/or non-US residents. There is no expectation of compensation or future employment. You will gain weekly 1-on-1 mentorship with the founder, real portfolio work, a professional recommendation letter, and hands-on experience building a growing education brand. Program duration is 4 months with the option to extend.
