Financial Management Services (FMS), a department within Business Affairs, is responsible for creating an ecosystem which promotes innovative and sound financial administration policies and practices that balance controls, compliance, and customer service. FMS is primarily responsible for financial policy oversight, quality assurance and financial services at Stanford University and its affiliated entities. It also serves as a liaison to the hospitals and the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC). FMS is seeking a strategic and collaborative AI Enablement Program Manager to spearhead our department's adoption of artificial intelligence. This individual will support our department's AI strategy and be responsible for cultivating AI literacy and ensuring our organizational structure is prepared for the future. Core Responsibilities: Learning and Development: Design and manage the department's end-to-end AI learning program, from defining learning pathways and curating training solutions to developing a central repository of best-practice guides and self-service resources. Center of Excellence & Community Enablement: Participate in the department's AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to develop practical frameworks and standards. You will also foster a vibrant AI community of practice by launching working groups, supporting a network of "AI Champions," and facilitating peer-learning showcases and forums. Organizational Strategy & Talent: Partner with departmental leadership and HR on AI-related talent strategy, advising on organizational design, competency modeling, and change management. You will directly support talent acquisition by helping to revise job descriptions and inform interview strategies. Measurement & Impact: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI adoption. You will be responsible for synthesizing data into compelling narratives that inform leadership, demonstrate progress, and drive continuous improvement of the enablement program. Minimum Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and eight years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate constituencies which could span multiple organizational boundaries. Demonstrated excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions using good business judgment and innovative and creative problem-solving. Demonstrated ability to manage financial, organizational and staff resources. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to cultivate professional and business partnerships.
