Our client is a data infrastructure company. They seek an AI Engineer to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities Architect a centralized AI platform integrated across core business systems Build and maintain secure, sandboxed environments for autonomous code execution with storage and isolation controls Design agentic workflows by developing custom sub-agents, skills, and domain-specific guidelines Integrate AI tooling into the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and engineering workflows Develop cross-functional AI solutions (e.g., bots, data agents, analytics tools) to support non-engineering teams Automate operational processes by embedding AI capabilities into internal systems and workflows Evaluate and implement third-party AI platforms to enhance infrastructure and scalability Establish engineering standards and best practices for AI-assisted development across the organization Collaborate with engineering leadership to translate strategic initiatives into production-grade systems Strengthen system security by designing controls for access, permissions, and risk mitigation in AI environments Requirements 5-8+ years of experience in software/infrastructure engineering Experience in cloud environments Experience integrating tools into SDLC/CI/CD pipelines Prior work in platform engineering or internal tooling teams Job ID # 47952 Tagged as: In-Office
