Who you are Hands-on experience with Claude (Anthropic) not just prompting, but building structured workflows, Claude Projects, and multi-step automations Meaningful Zapier experience multi-step zaps, conditional logic, API integrations, and a track record of workflows that are actually in production 2–5 years in HR operations, People ops, or a closely related function enough context to understand what's worth automating and what still needs a human Strong judgment about AI output you know when to trust it, when to edit it, and when to escalate A builder's mentality: you're not waiting for someone to scope a project for you. You see a problem, you prototype a solution Clear, professional written communication you'll represent the People team in employee-facing content and executive communications Experience building or contributing to an AI Guild, Center of Excellence, or internal community of practice around AI tools Familiarity with HR systems in the mid-market (Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, or similar) and how to connect them via API or middleware Background in financial services, fintech, or another compliance-conscious industry where you've had to think about data handling alongside automation Evidence of upskilling others you've taught colleagues how to use AI tools effectively, not just built things yourself What the job involves Our AI & People Operations Associate will be the operational engine of an AI-forward People team designing, building, and running the systems that make everything else faster and smarter This is not a coordinator role with AI sprinkled in. The expectation is that you bring a fundamentally different operating model: one where agentic tools handle the repetitive, and your energy goes toward what still requires human judgment Design and maintain Zapier workflows that connect our HR systems, communications, and data eliminating manual handoffs and reducing time-to-action across the employee lifecycle Build Claude-powered automations for onboarding, offboarding, employee communications, and People team operations going well beyond prompting to actual workflow integration Identify manual processes across the HR function and take ownership of eliminating them, not delegating the work but doing it Develop and manage AI agents that generate personalized employee-facing content, support manager self-service, and surface just-in-time information from role and organizational data Build and iterate on Claude Projects that enable the People team to operate more consistently and at higher quality prompt libraries, automated drafts, structured research workflows Stay current on what's possible bring new tools, new use cases, and new ideas to the team on a regular cadence Manage day-to-day HR operations including HRIS data integrity, reporting, and process documentation with an eye toward what can be automated next Support the employee experience across key moments: new hire onboarding, internal mobility, offboarding, and lifecycle events Partner with HRBPs to execute on people programs and ensure operational follow-through is never the bottleneck Benefits Hybrid Schedule & Flexible PTO: Take advantage of 3-4 days in-office per week and 1-2 WFH days per week (varying by team), and a robust Paid Time Off program that includes logging off for "Winter Week."
