Role Description DreamCollege.ai is seeking highly motivated college students and rising high school seniors to join our team as AI Product & Engineering Interns for a 10-week summer internship . This internship provides hands-on experience working on real AI-powered product initiatives in a fast-growing EdTech startup environment. Interns will collaborate with product specialists, engineers, and business leaders to support AI product development, data organization, prompt engineering, quality assurance, user research, and customer experience improvement. Responsibilities As an AI Product & Engineering Intern, you may support projects across product, engineering, AI workflow, and customer experience, including: Use AI tools to process, organize, validate, and structure college, career, and education-related data Support the design, testing, and improvement of AI agents that help students with college, career, and academic planning Assist with the development and testing of AI-powered product features and workflows Conduct research related to colleges, careers, admissions, education trends, and AI technologies Support prompt engineering, AI workflow optimization, and automation initiatives Perform quality assurance testing on platform features and AI-generated outputs Evaluate AI agent responses for accuracy, clarity, personalization, and usefulness Identify opportunities to improve user experience, product usability, and student engagement Participate in brainstorming sessions for new product ideas, AI agents, and feature enhancements Collaborate with product and engineering team members on innovation initiatives Support operational and product improvement projects across the platform Requirements We are looking for students who are: Highly motivated college students or rising high school seniors with a passion for AI, technology, education, or innovation Strong in research, analytical thinking, and problem solving Curious, proactive, and entrepreneurial Accountable, dependable, and committed to high-quality work Organized and effective communicators Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment Eager to learn new technologies, AI tools, and product development workflows Detail-oriented and comfortable working on structured projects Preferred Skills The following skills are helpful but not required: Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or other Generative AI platforms Basic programming knowledge, such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar Familiarity with spreadsheets, research tools, or workflow platforms Interest in AI product development, UX/UI, or startup operations Interest in AI agents, automation, and emerging AI technologies Ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment Enthusiasm for education technology and supporting students in their educational journeys Preferred Backgrounds We welcome students with interests or studies in: Computer Science Engineering Data Science Education Educational Technology Business Psychology Human-Computer Interaction Entrepreneurship Related fields What You Will Gain Interns will gain Hands-on experience building AI-powered products and AI agents Exposure to real-world product development and startup operations Experience working with cutting-edge AI tools, workflows, and automation technologies Opportunity to
