About the Team Pasiflora AI's Tiger Team is a small group of senior practitioners brought in to finish what others couldn't. We take on AI initiatives that have stalled, hit a technical wall, or run past the expertise of the original team, and we drive them to completion. Every project we touch has already had qualified people on it. Our job is to bring the depth, judgment, and resolve to close it out. This is not an entry point into the field. We hire experts. The Role As an AI Red Team Specialist on the Tiger Team, you'll inherit complex, partially completed work across the AI stack model development, agentic systems, evaluation pipelines, deployment infrastructure, safety tooling, and own it through to a finished, production-quality result. You'll work across teams, diagnose what went wrong or what's missing, and execute the path to done. The work is varied and rarely clean. One quarter you might be untangling a stalled fine-tuning pipeline; the next, completing an agent evaluation framework that hit unexpected edge cases; the next, salvaging an integration that the original team couldn't get over the line. What stays constant is the standard: senior-level quality, every time. What You'll Do Take ownership of inherited AI projects mid-stream and drive them to completion Rapidly assess the state of unfinished work code, models, documentation, decisions made and unmade, and identify what it takes to finish Resolve the hardest technical problems on each project, often the ones that caused the original team to stall Operate across domains as needed: model training, agentic systems, evaluations, infrastructure, safety Communicate clearly with the original stakeholders, capture context that was lost, and document the final state so the work is durable after handoff Maintain a high standard of rigor even under handoff conditions and time pressure Contribute back to internal practices that prevent the next project from stalling for the same reasons What We're Looking For Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in computer science, machine learning, or a closely related field, with deep applied expertise Genuine senior-level breadth across the modern AI stack, not just one corner of it A track record of taking on hard, ambiguous, partially defined technical work and finishing it Strong diagnostic instincts: you can walk into an unfamiliar codebase or research artifact and figure out where it stands quickly Excellent written and verbal communication, including with the people whose work you're picking up, which requires tact as much as skill Comfort with ambiguity, shifting context, and projects that look different week to week The professional maturity to inherit someone else's work without ego, and the technical confidence to make hard calls when needed Nice to Have Prior experience in tiger team, incident response, or technical rescue roles Published work in AI, machine learning, or a related research area Background spanning both research and production engineering Why Pasiflora Work on the projects that matter most, the ones that have to land A small, senior team with no junior support layer and no busywork Fully remote, with equipment and travel budgets for in-person collaboration Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits
