Department: Source Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Philadelphia, PA Reporting To: Brad Burgeron Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 / two weeks Description Key Responsibilities Support and assist in business development initiatives. Lead and perform on-site stack testing and source emissions monitoring in accordance with federal and regional regulatory methods (e.g., EPA Reference Methods, ECCC). Plan and manage field deployments, including crew logistics, equipment preparation, and safety procedures. Analyze collected data and ensure QA/QC protocols are strictly followed throughout testing and reporting processes. Serve as a technical liaison with clients, regulators, and internal teams to communicate project scope, progress, and findings. Train, mentor, and supervise junior field technicians and new team members. Troubleshoot and maintain analytical and sampling skills equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Support project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting in collaboration with project managers and senior leadership. Keep current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices, proactively adapting procedures and technologies. Prepare and QA/QC high-quality technical reports, including regulatory documentation, emissions data summaries, and field observations. Skills, Knowledge And Experience We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications: Post-secondary education in Environmental Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field. Preferably, a minimum of 10-years experience working in the Air Quality field Ambient monitoring experience is an asset Strong computer and analytical technical “hands-on” skills An aptitude for practical problem-solving Field/site experience is a definite asset Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Must have a valid driver's license. Candidates Should Also Possess Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong people and team skills as well as being highly motivated An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with no supervision Exceptional organizational capabilities, coordination, and consultation skills Willingness to travel, and work outdoors including working long hours, evenings, and weekends Collect samples at locations that may require working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions Please submit your cover letter and resume.
