Job Title: Airbnb Insurance Claims Specialist Location: Fully Remote, Nigeria Rate: $5 - $7 per hour based on experience Schedule: Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time Job Type: Full-Time Job Description As an experienced Airbnb Insurance Claims Specialist to manage and process insurance-related claims associated with Airbnb properties and guest incidents. The ideal candidate has direct experience handling insurance claims specifically involving Airbnb , understands documentation and dispute processes, and can communicate professionally with guests, support teams, and internal stakeholders. Requirements Must have direct experience filing insurance claims with Airbnb (strict requirement) Strong understanding of Airbnb’s resolution and reimbursement processes Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining accuracy Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Reliable internet connection and professional remote setup Key Responsibilities File and manage insurance claims related to Airbnb reservations, property damage, guest incidents, and reimbursements Coordinate with Airbnb support and resolution teams regarding claim status and required documentation Gather, organize, and submit supporting documents, photos, invoices, and evidence for claims processing Monitor claim timelines and follow up consistently to ensure resolution Communicate professionally with guests, vendors, property managers, and internal teams Maintain accurate records of claims, communications, and resolutions Escalate urgent or complex claims when necessary Ensure claims are submitted accurately and within required deadlines Successful candidates for this role are expected to possess the following attributes: Must have excellent English communication skills. Has the ability to complete projects in a timely manner and quickly adjust to changing circumstances and embrace new technologies, processes, or methods. Great logical and verbal reasoning skills. Exceptionally detail-oriented. Exceptional problem-solving and information-processing skills. Ability to think outside the box. A great work ethic and interest in learning new concepts and growing with the job. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must have their own work device (preferably a desktop or laptop) and a stable internet connection. Must be comfortable with using a time-tracking software for payroll purposes. Must be willing to undergo a background verification check during the final stages of the hiring process. Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits: A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid). A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance). A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work. Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year.
