Airport Security Patrol Officer – Overnight | SD City Schedule Tuesday & Wednesday 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available Position Summary As an Airport Security Patrol Driver, you will be responsible for securing multiple assigned locations through active patrol, prompt response to dispatch calls, and consistent documentation of all activity. Officers assigned to this position are expected to maintain a visible and professional presence while supporting site safety and daily security operations. Daily responsibilities include conducting patrols of the Airport, responding to dispatch calls, addressing trespassing and other security-related concerns, performing parking enforcement, and monitoring the property for suspicious activity. Officers must remain alert, professional, and proactive throughout their shift. Patrol Drivers are responsible for completing Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports using a mobile reporting application. Additional duties include initiating gate openings and closures, performing property lock-ups, conducting door and perimeter checks, and addressing transient activity in accordance with company policy. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to dispatch calls and security-related incidents Complete DARs and incident reports accurately and in real time Perform gate openings, closures, and property lock-ups Conduct routine door, perimeter, and patrol checks Address trespassing and transient activity professionally and in accordance with company policy Perform parking enforcement as required Maintain communication with dispatch and field supervisors Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the shift Job Requirements Must possess an active BSIS Guard Card Must be 25 years of age or older Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history Must have reliable transportation Must demonstrate strong customer service skills Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English Must pass a background check and random drug testing Fair Housing training preferred but not required
