Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) ๐Ÿ“ Location: Miami, FL ๐Ÿ•’ Job Type: Full-Time ๐Ÿ“… Schedule: Mixed Shifts | Rotating Weekends Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic acute care team in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and supporting patients requiring invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled respiratory professional looking to work in a fast-paced hospital setting with a strong clinical team. Key Responsibilities Perform and document patient respiratory assessments, including: Breath sounds Airway patency Cuff pressure Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy Administer respiratory care therapies, including: Oxygen delivery Aerosol medication delivery Chest physiotherapy Assist with placement of artificial airways Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation Monitor patient response to therapy and notify providers of any changes or unintended responses Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients Respond to emergency patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Qualifications Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate in Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a motivated and clinically skilled Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a collaborative hospital environment.
