As a Paramedic in the communities we serve, you will provide advanced medical care and play a pivotal role in delivering life-saving interventions to individuals during critical situations. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on community health and safety. Responsibilities: Respond promptly to emergency calls as part of a 911. Perform advanced patient assessments and triage, prioritizing care based on criticality. Administer advanced life support (ALS) interventions within scope of practice and protocols. Manage and stabilize patients experiencing medical emergencies, trauma, or cardiac events. Coordinate patient care and transportation to appropriate medical facilities. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, their families, and healthcare providers. Document patient assessment, treatment provided, and response to interventions accurately and comprehensively. Maintain and clean equipment and ambulances in accordance with established standards. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing emergency medical services. Qualifications: Current certification as a Paramedic or EMT-I in Virginia. Valid CPR (BLS) certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification. Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
