This is a US based hybrid role requiring you to report onsite to our office located at 755 Crossover Ln, Memphis, TN Potential for conversion to full time opportunity Job Summary Opportunity to join a Finance Team that serves as a critical business partner managing global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will oversee a group of assigned hotels for Centralized Hotel Accounting, supporting internal and external partners by performing accounting, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and forecasting activities. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while developing your expertise in hospitality finance and building valuable relationships across the organization. Responsibilities Perform monthly closing and post-closing activities including journal entry preparation and review, financial statement variance reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and wire transfers Document and address issues that arise throughout the closing and post-close period while ensuring proper GAAP accounting Prepare cash-flow forecasts and analyze cash positions as they relate to cash needs Communicate with parties regarding any cash-related discrepancies and provide owner reporting when requested Partner with third-party service providers to ensure all necessary information is captured, compiled, reviewed, and approved Research and respond to information requests from internal departments and management Attend staff meetings pertinent to work assignments Meet with your manager periodically in one-on-one settings to bring new ideas to the team Collaborate with your manager to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish project and department goals Skills Intermediate level proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting principles Expertise in General Ledger, Accruals, Reconciliations, and Cash Flows Proficiency in Month-End Close processes, Budgeting, and Forecasting Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Experience 2+ years of experience preparing, analyzing, or auditing financial statements 2+ years of GAAP Accounting experience Experience with PeopleSoft and Blackline is preferred Hotel or Property Management experience is preferred This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team where your contributions will directly impact the financial success of multiple hotel properties.
