About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Application Developer with extensive experience in Android and Kotlin development to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on developing and enhancing our mobile applications, primarily working on feature upgrades and new functionalities. The successful candidate will be responsible for building Kotlin Multiplatform modules and integrating them into iOS applications, ensuring seamless cross-platform performance. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely with a talented team that values innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. The role requires a deep understanding of mobile architecture, best practices, and a passion for creating secure, high-performance applications that serve our clients' needs effectively. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in Android application development, including building applications or libraries. At least 4 years of Kotlin programming experience, with a strong understanding of Kotlin Multiplatform development. 2+ years of iOS/Swift development experience, including building applications or libraries. Proven commitment to industry best practices, source code control, architecture, and testing methodologies. Strong expertise in multithreaded and asynchronous programming paradigms. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito/MockK, Roboelectric, and Swift Testing. Hands-on experience with external device communication via USB, Bluetooth, or TCP/IP protocols. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience creating Android Archive (AAR), Java Archive (JAR), iOS frameworks, and Swift modules. Interest in tooling, continuous integration, and deployment processes. Knowledge of data security, encryption, compliance, data privacy laws, and regulations. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Android applications and libraries using Kotlin, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Build Kotlin Multiplatform modules and integrate them into iOS applications, enabling cross-platform functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. Implement industry-standard best practices for source control, architecture, and testing to ensure code quality and maintainability. Develop and execute unit and system tests to validate application functionality and performance. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adhering to coding standards. Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive interfaces and enhance user experience. Engage in continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies. Ensure compliance with data security, encryption, and privacy standards relevant to financial applications. Communicate effectively with external device interfaces via USB, Bluetooth, or TCP/IP as required.
