Animal Breeder/ Herdsman Position

Longs Peak Dairy is looking for a reliable and motivated Breeder / Herdsman to join out team.This position focuses on breeding, heat detection, herd health support, and daily cow management.We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail, works well with a team, and is comfortable working around animals in a fast-paced dairy environment.Job Duties Perform artificial insemination Detect heats and monitor breeding activity Assist with herd health checks and treatments Record breeding and health information accurately Move cattle safely and calmly Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas Follow all dairy safety and animal care protocols Qualifications Good communication skills Must be dependible and have reliable transportation Pay:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
