POSITION TITLE: Animal Technician II RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Transfer animals to clean caging, ensuring provision of feed, water, and bedding, along with reporting abnormal conditions. Maintain animal records, conduct daily animal health observations, identify sick animals, receive and ship animals and perform basic treatments under veterinary staff direction. Permanently identifies animals by ear tags, ear notch, or tattoos. Clean, sanitize, and autoclave caging, equipment, water bottles, feed, and bedding along with conducting cagewash equipment maintenance and reporting maintenance needs.
