Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Antique Mall Manager to lead the operations of The Open Market Northside. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will drive sales, maintain inventory accuracy, and foster a welcoming environment for both vendors and shoppers. Responsibilities Lead the overall management of the antique mall, including store operations, vendor relations, and customer service excellence Supervise staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure a motivated and efficient team Oversee inventory management, including stock purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales potential Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract new vendors and customers while maintaining the mall’s vibrant community atmosphere Manage daily cash handling procedures, POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store financials with accuracy and integrity Ensure compliance with safety protocols, store policies, and licensing requirements while fostering a positive shopping environment Coordinate with vendors on purchasing decisions, pricing adjustments, and store layout to optimize product presentation and sales Requirements Proven management experience in retail or mall environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math principles Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customers and vendors Demonstrated skills in negotiation, recruiting, employee orientation, training & development, and team leadership Experience with merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and store budgeting Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of customer service Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, inventory control, and administrative tasks Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales or grocery stores is highly desirable Join us as the Antique Mall Manager at The Open Market Northside to lead a lively marketplace filled with unique treasures!
