Job Description
Our client is a family office. They seek a AP Bookkeeper to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment processing Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure proper GL coding and supporting documentation Reconcile bank statements and assist with monthly bank reconciliations Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate backup and approvals Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, respond to inquiries, and manage payment status Assist with month-end close activities related to AP and cash accounts Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks, reporting, and process improvements Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures Requirements 3-5+ years of accounting experience Real estate experience highly preferred AP and bookkeeping experience required Familiarity or experience with property management is a plus Excellent communication skills QuickBooks experience is a plus Excel experience required Job ID # 48021 Tagged as: In-Office
