LSSI is hiring a part-time Maintenance Technician, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am - 4pm (some flexibility) and every other weekend. Responsible for maintaining all facets of physical plant and grounds in accordance with health and safety requirements at designated facilities. Benefits And Perks LSSI is growing! The paid training you need to learn, grow, and succeed! Essential Functions Perform routine maintenance, janitorial duties, and repair of buildings and grounds. Report needs for major repairs as required by LSSI/HUD. Follow standards regarding safety, licensing, regulatory and agency requirements. Assist in implementation of preventative maintenance program. Assist in resident apartment turn over preparations. Document work orders and complete other reporting functions as in compliance with LSSI and/or funding source requirements. Be able to assume minimal responsibilities for daily facility operations when Spring Ridge maintenance manager is absent. Perform other related tasks as necessary or assigned. Position Qualifications HS Diploma / equivalent or 6 months or more of maintenance related experience. Comprehend and follow instructions, perform assigned tasks, maintain an appropriate work pace, perform complex and/or varied tasks, relate to others, make decisions, direct/control plan work, communicate in writing and verbally. Willingness and ability to participate/obtain HUD, LSSI, OSHA, NSPIRE/REAC, etc. related training. Valid Driver's License in good standing. Access to an insured vehicle with required and valid IL statutory minimum insurance coverage.
