Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Apartment Manager to lead our residential community with enthusiasm and professionalism.This vital role involves overseeing daily property operations, ensuring exceptional resident experiences, and maintaining the property's overall health and compliance.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and legal administrative processes, with a passion for creating welcoming and well-managed living environments.As an Apartment Manager, you will be the face of the community, driving leasing success, completing daily common areas cleaning, scheduling and managing maintenance outsourcing, and ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations including Fair Housing laws and Section 8 guidelines.You will be overseeing a 108 micro/studio units with private bathrooms and shared kitchens on each floor.Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, commo areas, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.Conduct property tours, upselling available units to prospective tenants while emphasizing community benefits.Oversee lease agreements, contracts, and legal documentation in compliance with landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.Utilize property management software Appfolio for leasing, data entry, reporting, and record keeping.Handle conflict management situations professionally to resolve tenant concerns promptly while maintaining positive relationships.Coordinate property maintenance activities by outsourcing maintenance and cleaning to approved vendors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep.Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, lease files, inspection reports, and incident logs.Uphold compliance with all Washington State and Seattle fair housings laws and Landlord-Tenant laws.Engage in customer service excellence by addressing resident inquiries via phone etiquette and fostering strong customer relationships.Assist in marketing efforts through sales techniques and upselling to maximize occupancy rates.Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential communities.Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, and Section 8 housing policies.Proficiency with property management software such as Appfolio.Excellent conflict management skills coupled with effective negotiation abilities.Background in legal administrative tasks including contracts, filings, and compliance documentation.Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and relationship management capabilities.Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, and general administrative support.Ability to coordinate property maintenance activities efficiently.Pay:$24.50 - $32.26 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Work Location:In person.
