Overview Join our dynamic team as a Driver and Helper, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of goods and equipment. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of commercial vehicles, from box trucks to heavy haul equipment, while supporting logistics operations across multiple sites. As a Driver and Helper, you’ll be the backbone of our delivery and transportation services, bringing energy and professionalism to every task. Whether you're navigating city routes or assisting with loading and unloading, your contribution will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial vehicle(Non CDL box trucks). Assist with loading and unloading cargo using dolly and moving strap techniques to ensure secure transport. Follow established routes for delivery maintaining punctuality and adherence to traffic laws. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, or route adjustments. Support with yard jockey duties or yard management tasks such as load & unload operations and vehicle positioning. Maintain accurate records of trips, cargo documentation, and vehicle maintenance logs to ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving roles such as delivery driver experience, bus driving (including school bus or paratransit), or route driving. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot common issues. Familiarity with operating a commercial vehicle (NON-CDLbox trucks Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (NON-CDL box truck). Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively. Ability to load & unload cargo safely using manual methods or mechanical aids like dolly or moving straps. Physical stamina to handle moving freight or equipment throughout shifts; capable of lifting heavy loads when necessary.
