INTERVIEW= Onsite / Virtual JOB TYPE= Onsite Scope of Work Minimum Qualifications a. Academic and Certification i. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years' experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming; or ii. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the computer science or management information systems. b. Skills and Abilities i. Proficiency in .NET Core development, including building web applications, API's and services using ASP .NET Core, ii. Knowledge of .NET Core MVC for web application development, iii. Experience with .NET Core Entity Framework for data access, iv. Strong knowledge of C# programming, the primary language for .NET Core development, v. Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns, vi. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and administration, vii. Ability to write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers, viii. Expertise in designing and modeling relational databases, including normalization and schema design, ix. Front-end web development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, x. Knowledge of modern web development frameworks and libraries (Angular, React, jQWidgets), xi. Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using .NET Core for building web services, xii. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and practices to ensure code quality and reliability, xiii. Strong understanding of SQL and Transact-SQL (T-SQL) for working with SQL Server databases, xiv. Problem-solving: strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues in applications and databases xv. Communication: good communication and teamwork skills, as developers often work in collaboration with other team members, such as front-end developers, testers, and project managers; and xvi. Security awareness: awareness of security best practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization, to protect sensitive data. c. Experience i. Five (5) years' of successful system development, maintenance, support, and implementation/integration experience using Visual Studio .Net, C# and SQL Server in applications development projects. d. General i. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments, ii. Ability to communicate technical information effectively, and iii. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Responsibilities The Applications Development Analyst (Intermediate) will be responsible for the following: a. Assists in the definition, development, and documentation of the business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications needed to develop new software programs and applications, b. Writes, translates, and codes, software programs, and applications according to required specifications, c. Writes programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of existing APD applications as necessary, d. Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests on new and existing applications for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvements, and general debugging, e. Liaise with network administrators, database administrators, system analysts, and business owners to assist in resolving problems with applications/programs; and f. Provides maintenance and support to existing APD business applications.
