Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the kitchen and food industry, with a particular focus on food handling and culinary skills. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries, breads, cupcakes, cookies and donuts that delight our customers while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness in the kitchen. Hours Our Bakers arrive at 4 a.m. Monday through Saturday and do not have a set end time. Typically we are done with our work day before noon, but our end time depends on the skill and efficiency of the Bakers to get the work done in a timely manner. Duties Prepare and mix dough according to established recipes and standards. Operate baking equipment, including ovens and fryers, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and ensure customer satisfaction. Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies needed for production. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or food industry role is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Basic culinary skills, including baking techniques. Ability to use kitchen tools such as knives and mixers safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating high-quality baked goods. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Pay Info The starting rate for the Baker position with no experience and requiring training is $16. 00 per hour. Pay will increase with experienced Bakers. Once trained and working efficiently, a Salary with paid leave becomes available.
