Join a dedicated team responsible for repairing and maintaining healthcare facilities, systems, and equipment in the Central Plains region of the United States. This role involves receiving and completing work order requests for facilities maintenance, ensuring timely completion, and prioritizing critical repairs. You will inspect and perform preventative maintenance or repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, environmental management, power, and safety systems. Basic repairs are expected, with coordination of specialists for complex issues. Scheduling maintenance to minimize operational disruptions is essential. Education: No formal education required, though completion of an approved apprenticeship program is preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a similar maintenance environment is advantageous. Licenses/Certifications: A valid regional driver's license and auto insurance meeting local requirements are necessary if driving is involved. Journeyman licensure is preferred. Requirements: Physical stamina and the ability to follow directions independently are important. The role involves occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs) and frequent standing or walking (51-75% of the day). The position requires adherence to privacy and security regulations regarding protected health information. Additional responsibilities include assisting in emergency responses such as fire alarms, maintaining professional communication with patients, team members, contractors, and external agencies, and performing other duties as assigned. This position does not include people management responsibilities.
