Job Description
Job Title: Apprenticeship Program Manager – Construction Craft Laborer (Non-Union) Location: Branchburg, NJ Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Director, Regulatory Affairs Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Apprenticeship Program Manager to oversee our non-union Construction Craft Laborer Apprenticeship Program. This individual will manage all aspects of apprentice training, compliance, curriculum development, recruitment, contractor coordination, and day-to-day program operations. The ideal candidate has a strong construction background, understands apprenticeship regulations, and is committed to developing the next generation of skilled laborers. Key Responsibilities Program Management Oversee the daily operations of the Construction Craft Laborer Apprenticeship Program. Develop and maintain training schedules, class calendars, and jobsite rotation plans. Ensure all apprentices receive required on-the-job training (OJT) and related classroom instruction. Maintain accurate apprentice records, evaluations, attendance, and progression documentation. Coordinate and supervise instructors, trainers, and guest speakers. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with state and/or U.S. Department of Labor apprenticeship standards. Prepare and submit required documentation, audits, and progress reports. Maintain apprentice registration, upgrade records, and certifications. Ensure curriculum and training content meet industry and regulatory standards. Apprentice Recruitment & Support Assist with applicant screening, interviewing, and selection. Conduct onboarding orientation for new apprentices. Monitor apprentice performance, provide coaching, and support retention. Address conflicts, issues, or disciplinary matters as needed
