Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $20.00-$32.00/hr W.B Guimarin is currently hiring for a Commercial HVAC INSTALLATION MECHANIC in the Columbia, SC area. We are looking for an individual that is energetic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused. We are growing and need the right people to help us! Call or text us today! Prefer at least 3-5 years of working experience in the commercial market. Job Duties Work safely following company policies. Ensure customer satisfaction. Work well with others. Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturers specifications. Wiring of low voltage and high voltage electrical circuits associated with the installation of HVAC equipment and associated components. Be able to perform soldering & brazing of refrigerant & water piping. Welding experience a plus. Be proficient in the installation of HVAC duct systems and all components associated with them. Ensure the scope of work has been completed accurately. Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle. Ability to identify basic trade materials by size, shape and function. Able to safely use small power tools and hand tools. Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions. Education and Key Requirements Ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of HVAC experience. Minimum Type 2 EPA card. Acceptable driving record. New Employee and Random drug testing required. Proficient in PC based computer systems and tablet/smart phone technology. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and details; perform basic mathematical computations and use measuring tools. Ability to work skillfully with both hands constantly; independently safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally; climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffold.
