ARMED SECURITY OFFICERS (Full-time) Founded in 1999, Global Security Services is full service private security, investigation and electronic security agency.Global Security Services' provides expertise in consulting, physical security and protective services, investigation, electronic security and support of the total physical and electronic security environment.We are seeking Armed Security Officers to help provide armed uniformed security to businesses and various State and Federal agencies.www.GlobalSecurityServices.com QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Armed Security Officers must be proportionate in height and weight Must be clean shaven and neatly groomed at all times (meet military appearance regulations) Must be able to take a Physical Agility Test 1.5 mile run, sit and reach, sit-up, push-up and strength test) Must have valid Driver's License and good driving record Must have reliable transportation Must have valid PERC and FOID No criminal history/background No tattoos on hands, fingers, neck or face Must be able to work weekdays and weekends on 1st and 2nd shift 32 hours a week plus additional hours if available.Projected schedule is Sunday 6am-2pm, Monday 2pm-10pm, Tuesday 2pm-10pm, and Saturday 6am-2pm.RESPONSIBILITIES OF ARMED SECURITY OFFICERS Armed Security Officers will provide a general deterrence against the commission of wrongful acts attempted or committed against our client's employees, visitors, guests, or their property.Provide directions and informational assistance to employees, visitors and guests.Aid in the discovery of security violations and early reporting of emergencies.Detain miscreants when lawful and appropriate.Conduct roving patrol of facilities, grounds, parking lots, garages, out buildings and other functions outlined in written instructions.Prepare written reports detailing security related activity on appropriate forms.BENEFITS We provide paid training for Basic Training, OC, Baton, Taser (where applicable) and NRA Law Enforcement Firearms classroom and range time.We supply all training and duty ammunition.We provide all of your uniforms (2 pair) duty equipment and weapons to include OC, baton, Taser, and Glock 22.You provide t-shirt and duty boots.Work with professionals with a reputation of excellence spanning 20 years.http://globalsecurityservices.com/join-our-team1.html We believe that an effective team begins with diversity and inclusion.Global Security Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, dedicated to building strong teams that mirror our clients, businesses, and communities.We proudly support the military community and are a veteran friendly employer.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$21.56 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education:High school or equivalent (Required) Experience:Security:1 year (Required) License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) PERC Card (Required) FOID (Required) Shift availability:Day Shift (Required) Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute:Marseilles, IL 61341 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Marseilles, IL 61341:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
