In this role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence, conducting thorough surveillance, and responding swiftly to incidents. Duties Maintain a high-profile security presence through regular patrols of the premises, including access points, parking areas, and sensitive zones. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate action and communication with emergency responders when necessary. Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, vehicles, and packages to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Enforce security policies by verifying identification and credentials for visitors, contractors, and staff. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential threats. Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately to document all activities and occurrences during your shift. Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to effectively respond to medical emergencies. Demonstrated ability in conflict management and loss prevention strategies. Familiarity with security protocols related to access control, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures. Strong understanding of legal regulations relevant to security operations within the jurisdiction.
