Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, providing essential radiologic imaging services that support life-saving diagnoses. As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assisting radiologists in patient care. This role may also involve cross-training in other medical imaging areas. Key Responsibilities Maintain flexibility in scheduling, demonstrate punctuality, and perform effectively under pressure. Communicate clearly and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing patient care and departmental needs. Provide safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and comply with all regulatory and safety standards. Keep patients and their families informed about exam progress and respond promptly to their needs. Accurately interpret physician orders and maintain thorough patient and departmental records. Education Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required. Experience At least six months of experience as a registered radiographer is preferred. Certifications and Licenses Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or registry-eligible with commitment to obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required. Mental and Physical Requirements Close mental and visual attention for extended periods is necessary.
