Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Store Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with retail operations, and a passion for helping customers find what they need. This position will assist with inventory management, so will require computer experience to manage POS system. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Manage inventory in POS system and tag merchandise Upsell related products to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Support store operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to store policies Interact with vendors to gain an understanding of the store merchandise Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in art or similar stores Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math principles Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette Experience in inventory management is advantageous This role is ideal for individuals passionate about retail sales, customer service, a love for art, and creating positive shopping experiences.
