Role: AI‑Forward Software Engineer Location: Fully Remote Pay: $40 - $50 per hour W2 only Length:12 month Initial contract Utilization: 40 hours per week Timezone: EST‑aligned, flexible The Role This role is ideal for a hungry, curious, and AI‑native engineer who wants to work across the full cloud and AI stack. You do not need years of machine learning experience—what matters is strong software fundamentals, comfort in the cloud, and fluency with modern AI development tools. You’ll join a small, high‑impact engineering team with real ownership, contributing directly to AI‑driven capabilities such as voice agents, risk scoring, and intelligent clinical workflows. The scope is broad, expectations are high, and learning happens fast. Responsibilities Build and maintain cloud services, APIs, and pipelines that support AI and ML workloads. Design and evolve infrastructure‑as‑code using modern tooling (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform). Containerize services and ship production code through CI/CD pipelines. Integrate AI models and third‑party AI APIs into real‑world systems. Actively use AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development and share best practices with the team. Contribute to a secure, auditable architecture suitable for healthcare data and regulated environments. Collaborate closely with engineering and AI leadership on emerging AI‑driven product capabilities. Requirements Must Have Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean code, testing, debugging, and version control. Proficiency in Python (TypeScript is a plus). Hands‑on experience with AWS (or another major cloud platform). Experience writing or working with infrastructure‑as‑code. Comfort with containers, APIs, and distributed systems. Demonstrated use of AI development tools in day‑to‑day workflows. Nice to Have Exposure to ML pipelines, LLM APIs, or agentic AI systems. Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or finance. Open‑source contributions, side projects, or strong personal GitHub portfolio. Why This Opportunity?
