Artisan Baker Full Time Boulangerie - A Proper Bakery, winner of the Best Bakery and Business of the Year 2024 by the Kennebunk, Kennebunkport & Arundel Chamber of Commerce, located in Downtown Kennebunk Maine is now hiring a full-time Artisan Baker! Boulangerie is a woman owned small batch bakery that serves artisan bread, pastries, and approachable wines with kind and empathetic hospitality.Boulangerie nourishes happy, long term relationships amongst our staff as well as with our community; we want our team and guests to feel happy and supported by our kindness and nourishing experience! Standards are high within our fast-paced environment.We are seeking a skilled, friendly Baker who has a strong work ethic, attention to detail and enthusiasm for making beautiful pastries, cakes and breads in the early morning hours.Responsibilities include: Mixing, Laminating & Shaping Croissants Scaling & Mixing Breads.-Production of cakes, cookies, scones, etc - Maintaining an immaculate work space which includes proper cleaning of equipment, cleaning as you go, and cleaning up at the end of your shift. The opportunity to rotate with the other bakers if desire, speed and skill are present.We are happy to teach new skills to the right candidate. Set a positive tone for the team/bakery for the day as you are often one of the first to arrive!
