Octagon Cleaning & Restoration is seeking an experienced Asbestos / Mold / Restoration Lead Technician to join our growing team in Barrington, NH.This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone who takes pride in running jobs the right way, leading crews, and delivering high-quality work while maintaining strict safety standards.If you have strong experience in asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and restoration work, and you're ready to step into a lead role where your skills and leadership matter, we want to hear from you.Position Overview The Asbestos / Mold / Restoration Lead Technician is responsible for leading field crews on active job sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations and company standards.This role works closely with Project Managers to carry out scopes of work, maintain documentation, and ensure job quality from start to finish.Key Responsibilities Lead field crews on asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and restoration projects Execute job scopes efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards Set up and maintain containment areas, negative air systems, HEPA filtration, and proper site controls Ensure proper PPE use and safety compliance at all times Maintain daily job documentation, logs, photos, and reporting as required Coordinate equipment and job needs with the Project Manager Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and professional Train and support newer technicians and help improve crew performance Communicate progress, issues, and site conditions to management in real time Assist with emergency response projects as needed (water/fire/mold events) Qualifications Minimum 3years experience in asbestos abatement and/or mold remediation Previous experience leading a crew or acting as a lead technician preferred Strong knowledge of proper containment procedures and safe removal practices Ability to follow scopes of work, work plans, and project requirements Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical labor as required Preferred Certifications (Not Required but a Plus) Asbestos Supervisor or Lead Technician License (Maine and/or New Hampshire preferred) Mold Remediation Certifications IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Confined Space / Respirator Fit Testing experience What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Health benefits (if applicable) Training and certification support Growth opportunities within a growing company A strong team culture with high expectations and strong support Why Octagon?
