About the Role We are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Development, to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the Carolinas Region. This role is ideal for a high-energy sales professional with a passion for customer relationships, team leadership, and hitting aggressive sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Strategy Manage the day-to-day operations of the business development and sales functions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Support sales forecasting and territory planning in collaboration with leadership. Build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships to support sales and service excellence. Marketing & Go-to-Market Planning Develop and implement short- and long-term sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with leadership. Monitor market trends and competitor activity; adjust go-to-market strategies as needed. Industry Engagement & Client Relations Represent the company at trade associations, conferences, and industry events. Support high-level client engagement, including relationship management and deal negotiation/closure. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a business development or direct sales role supporting a commercial construction general contractor, subcontractor, or supplier. Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and reporting best practices. Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.
